A Letter of Recognition is awarded to students who complete all six courses with satisfactory standing.

The Institute gets underway this Fall with Introduction to Floral Artistry: Beginning to Bloom with John Orton. It's a series of hands-on introductory workshops on selecting, processing and caring for flowers, as well as design mechanics and construction techniques.

Also offered is Wonderful Wedding Florals with Naomi Garcia. Participants get an overview of designing flowers and other decorative elements for weddings. Bouquet construction is covered at length, as are all elements of wedding decor. Not to be missed! Naomi is Stoneblossom's bouquet stylist. Learn from the best in the biz!!!

Brilliant Ballet...

Last weekend's marriage of Yana and Dwight at Newport's Belle Mer was a dreamy, whimsical, creative tour de force! Flowers "danced" from table to table - creating a roomful of graceful contortions and statuesque displays!

The dicey weather held out for the gorgeous seaside ceremony. The aisle was lined with natural river stones and lanterns.

What a lovely couple they are - and isn't that gown a stunner???!!!

Inside the ballroom, Stoneblossom designer Dennis Delsignore did a brilliant job with his clean yet delicate touch - making each and every varied glass container absolute poetry!

Green Goddess callas....

The dramatic mantle all set to glow!

The Bride's vision was inspired by Jeff Leatham's book "Flowers". He was the resident florist for the Four Seasons Hotel Georges V in Paris and broke new ground with his use of flowers in totally new ways.
completely out of water!

fondled and manipulated in and out of the vase - and even upside-down...
As the sun set, candles were lit - and the blue architectural lighting from Ormonde Productions kicked in - adding yet another layer of magic to the setting.

Terrific job Dennis! You're the best!
